Rocket science inquiry

Hi bloggers 

on most afternoons we do our inquiry which is when we split up into about 3 groups in those groups we split up into groups of 3 to 6 my group has me Leo and Harvey on Thursdays I'm at that so Leo dose most of the work with Harvey doing a little bit on Mondays we all do a lot of work because none of us have something on Tuesdays it is mostly the same apart from the fact that we have a pro engineer come in and help us learn about and make the rockets

Since the start of the year we have been learning Samoan.  This is my virtual classroom where I have put all my learning for you to also learn from.  If you hover over items in my classroom, a hyperlink will pop up for you to click on.

In my classroom you will learn about:

• Information about Siapo - how it is created, some examples

Magical parachutes

 Hi guys how is your week been so far?

today we made parachutes holding nuts our task is down below

You must launch a parachute from a directed height (the top of the stairs in the maker space), safely down to a controlled landing in a target area. The Slowest Descent Wins.  How to make it

• newspaper and get 1 page

• attach the string on to it with tape

• with nuts throw it

it surprisingly worked really well and we think the we are now in first place if I ever did

this again I would

make it bigger but basically follow the same design our Final time 3.21

My amazing poem

I literacy we are making sestina poems and we were only allowed to make a 6-word sentence 

This is a poem from a long time ago but I found it fun to make and thought I should make a post about it.

It may be small but it was fun to make maybe you should try

A big shark eating poor fish

 I feel the shark’s bite sting 

 My diving mate was with me 

 I wish I had shark-proof suits 

I went to win a fight
