hows your week going in lockdown? would you prefer to be back in school and out of lockdown or stay in lockdown well any way today i did a canva on why we need the ocean witch was quite fun did you know that over half of our oxygen comes from the ocean

Matariki

 Happy late Matariki everyone! 

On the 2 July we had the Māori New Year, a time to consider the year ahead. The days are starting to lengthen and spring will soon be here, we just need to get through this cold winter first! 

Matariki and the Pleiades star cluster, have got many stories attached to them. We looked at two; one about how Ranginui and Papatuanuku were separated by Tāne Mahuta, and how Tāwhirimatea was so angry he ripped out his eyes and threw thunderbolts to the sky, creating the cluster, and another story about 7 sisters making kites, and them going to the sky. Ururangi’s kite was different from the rest, it was rainbow coloured. We have mixed these two stories to create the design of our kites.

 Hello bloggers over the past 13 weeks we have been doing an Aladdin production I got the role as prime Abdulla so I said stuff in scene 1 and scene 2 i am really happy that I had such a great opportunity and it was a really really fun here is the cast that I was in

Back at school but nearly at the end of week 1 how are you finding this term are there some new people 

anyway in our class we are doing a production it is Aladdin I got given the role of prince Abdulla he is one of the suitors for Princess Jasmine but anyway when we are not reading and practising our scripts we are doing the tasks that our teaches have set us relating to Aladdin i did make pixel art of one of your favourite characters so i did genie

Horrible Holocaust

Over the past term, we have been doing a website about the Holocaust. because over the whole term we have been learning about the Holocaust and we also read the book once If you do not know what the holocaust is it is a time when Hitler was in power in ww2 and hated Jewish people because of who they were

Our task was to make a google site and come up with questions starting with "who what when where why and how" some of the questions were when did the Nazis stop killing jews,how did the nazis kill the jews and if you want to read more go to my site link

Friedensreich Hundertwasser Art

Hello bloggers over the last couple of weeks we have been trying to do art like Friedensreich Hundertwasser who was born in 1928 and died in the year 2000 his art is very basic so it is made so a little kid could do it up in Auckland there is a Hundertwasser art tolet here is a pic

In his art there are some things that make his art his some of these things are hidden faces in his art different houses lollipop trees floating eyes Onion Domes repetition but most of all he never does strait lines

but our task was to make art like his hirs with pencil then put it in pastel all the while learning about his art

Im back and this time after tech And I'm in fabric and are making a pillow but we are back from tech and we are now doing KOS witch stands for keeping ourselves safe our first task was to say if we could think of any times when we would be responsible for the safety of others like taking your younger sibling to the park cooking please tell me in the comments some times when you could be responsible for someone's safety then we were given 2 comics to look at one of a girl getting left out and then a one of a boy getting pushed over by a bully we were asked to make an ending to what the best option that we could do regarding their mental safety Hope you like it!
